Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This policy covers the Android version of Perimeno (Perimenopause Symptom Tracker) on Google Play.
Perimeno is a symptom tracker for perimenopause. What you log is personal, so the app is built to keep it with you: your symptom data stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what is stored, what leaves the device, and what we never do.
1. The short version
We cannot see your symptoms, your notes or your cycle. They are never sent to us. There is no account to create with us and no profile of you anywhere on our side. If your phone backs up to your Google account, your logs are included in that backup so a lost or broken phone does not lose them, but that is your own backup, encrypted by Google, and we have no access to it. The only information that reaches us is anything you choose to send us yourself; purchases are handled entirely by Google Play.
2. What you log, and where it lives
Your daily check-ins (menstrual flow, symptoms and their intensity, sleep, stress and your notes) are stored on your device, along with your onboarding answers, your reminder time, your appearance choice, and the optional names you enter for the doctor summary.
If backup is switched on for your phone, Android includes this data in your device backup to your Google account. That backup is encrypted and belongs to your own Google account. It lets your logs move to a new phone and survive a lost or reset one. We do not run a server of our own, and we cannot read your backup. If backup is off, everything simply stays on the device.
Deleting Perimeno removes the copy on your device. A copy may remain in your Google backup until it is replaced or expires; that copy is governed by Google's terms, not ours.
3. The doctor summary
The PDF summary is generated entirely on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere. When you share it, Android asks you where it should go, and from that point the file is in your hands: whoever you send it to receives whatever it contains. Nothing is shared automatically, and nothing is sent without you choosing a destination.
4. Reminders
If you switch on the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally by Android on your device. No server is involved and nothing about your logging is transmitted in order to send it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings, or revoke notification permission in your phone's settings.
5. Purchases
Premium is sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment and tells the app whether you have an active purchase. We never see your card details or your Google account.
No other service is involved: the app checks your purchase with Google Play directly, and nothing you log is ever part of it.
6. If you contact us
The feedback form in the app sends us your message, plus the app version, your device model and your Android version so we can reproduce problems. Your name and email address are optional: leave them out and we simply have no way to reply. This is delivered through Web3Forms, a form-handling service, and then lands in our email inbox.
We use what you send only to answer you and to fix what you reported.
7. What we do not do
We do not sell or share your data. We do not show advertising. There is no advertising identifier, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no analytics or usage-measurement service in this app. We do not build profiles, and we do not use your data to train anything.
8. Your data is yours
You are in direct control of your logs. Deleting the app removes the copy on your device. If your phone backs up to your Google account, a new phone set up from that backup gets your logs back; you can manage or delete that backup in your Google account settings. You can also keep a copy yourself with Back up my data in Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. In practice the only personal data we could hold is a support message you sent us. Email us and we will delete it.
9. Keeping it private on your phone
Your logs are not on any server of ours, so the main thing standing between them and someone else is your phone itself.
A screen lock is the best protection. Many Android phones can also lock or hide individual apps, for example in a private space or with an app lock in your phone's settings. That is your phone's own feature, so it works better than anything we could build into the app.
One thing we have already taken care of: reminder notifications never mention a symptom, so nothing personal appears on your lock screen.
10. Children
Perimeno is made for adults tracking perimenopause symptoms and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be mentioned in the app rather than made quietly.
12. Contact
Questions about privacy, or about this policy, are welcome at info@waytoplan.com. You can also use the feedback form in Settings.
