Planner description

Report sheets, 12-hour timelines, an ADHD Nurse Toolkit and shift checklists for busy nurses, made for ADHD brains: time-blocked, with checkboxes, "don't forget" prompts and nothing extra on the page. Printable in 4 sizes, with a bonus hyperlinked digital version for iPad.

A 12-hour shift throws a hundred small tasks at you, and ADHD brains don't hold them in working memory. These brain sheets give every task a place: write it the moment you hear it in report, put it at its hour, and check it off when it's done. Then a short end-of-shift checklist helps you leave on time with nothing forgotten.

💗 Why it's ADHD-friendly

  • Built for interruptions: an Interruption Tracker (time, what I was doing, interrupted by, come back to, done), a Parking Lot for requests that pop up mid-task, and "Next 3 Things" cards for when you lose the thread
  • Time-critical marks: a small clock on every to-do and labs line, "alarm set" boxes on the med pass and the 12-hour timelines, and a Time-Critical Tracker for everything with a set time
  • Priority stars: fill the star next to a to-do and the important ones stand out at a glance
  • "Where I left off": one line on every patient, so you can pick up where you stopped
  • An hourly check-in box on the 12-hour timelines
  • A "Before I walk into a room" pocket card (reason I'm going in, meds scanned, supplies, gloves, scanner, anything else for this patient?)
  • A 60-second Shift Overwhelm Reset: stop, breathe, check the timeline, pick the next time-critical item, ask for help
  • A Handoff Script in a fixed order with checkboxes, so nothing is missed when you're tired
  • Mostly checkboxes and short fields: fast to use mid-shift, little writing

💗 Patient privacy

Use initials or room numbers only. Never write full patient names or identifiers. Follow your facility's policy; shred report sheets at the end of the shift. Every report sheet (and every toolkit page with room numbers) has this reminder on its bottom line.
